REIKI ENERGY HEALING

Reiki is defined as a healing energy. Since we are all energy, Reiki works with your natural energy flow to assist the body in healing itself. Reiki energy is channeled through the practitioner to the client, so it is Universal energy that flows through the hands and interacts with the clients aura, which surrounds the entire body. Everything about a person is in the aura. Reiki energy balances the chakras, which are the 7 energy centers in the body. The chakras start at the spine and continue up to the crown. Each chakra is responsible for specific organs and parts of the nervous system, as well as the immune system. Since our muscles have memory, everything that happens in our lifetime is stored in our muscles and nerves. It is necessary to move our energy through the body and release what may be stored up in our system that no longer serves us. Old energy tends to get stuck in our bodies, and therefore needs to be moved through the body to be released.

Clients of Reiki have profound improvement in their overall health. My clients have commented that they are much more relaxed, issues seem to be easier to let go of, their outlook is better, and they are overall much happier. Reiki energy healing is so wonderful, that it is a catalyst for my clients to start their own healing process, encouraging them to look inward for answers instead of to outside sources.

Reiki energy healing can be done in person or through distance. Since energy is everywhere, it works through the intention of the practitioner to heal the client involved. In person, the client would lay on the Reiki table, fully clothed, on their back. Together, the client and practitioner set the intention for healing a specific area or for a general healing of balance and alignment. With soft healing music playing in the background, I would place my hands either gently on or slightly above the body, moving as I feel guided to, balancing and centering the chakras, moving the energy out of stagnant areas. There is little to no discussion during the session, as the idea is for the client to be relaxed and enjoy the full experience of release and peace.  My clients all tell me how relaxed and calm they feel during their session, and that they were happy they came. My clients will come back to honor themselves with this gift of self care. 

 

At the end of the healing session, there is some discussion to tell the client what I experienced, saw or felt. The client will at this time share their experience with me, if they wish, and receive clarification and understanding for what they saw, sensed or felt.

 

Each session lasts from 45 minutes to 1 1/2 hours and the session cost is $60.  The cost for the distance healing is the same price. Since Reiki is an energy healing, it can be sent and felt through any distance, anywhere in the world!
